Benjamin- Kelowna Newborn Photographer

Little Benjamin. This blog post is a long time coming. If I was to give out an award to the best sleeper, without a doubt, it would have gone to him. Every newborn session I have warms my heart, but he stole mine. 

Benjamin's mom had told me how he sleeps with his hands together at his face. I try to capture unique traits that newborns have. Such as this one. I want my clients to remember their newborns exactly as they were. So I keep my sessions very much in the newborns hands. I don't do much posing. I will never force a baby into a pose. Benjamin did not want his fingers laying flat, so I let him clench them. Just as his mother said he does.

Even when he decided to wake up he was still a happy little guy. He even flashed me a smile and gave me a wink. I think he enjoyed his time with me as much as I did with him.
