Kelowna Family Photographer : The Barnstables
My first session back from having Easton was this beautiful family session. We were blessed with beautiful light, that made me giddy. We spend of time together laughing and playing, with a few sibling arguments of course! The kids loved playing on the rocks and I loved watching them interact with each other. Especially since its one girl and one boy, girl being the oldest, just like mine at home.
After the session I went home and cuddled my little baby and day dreamed of when he will be old enough for Chloe to play with. Family sessions, they’ll do that to me.
A little note about the above photos. Everly, had some scrapes on her arms, I noticed them and I was sure to capture that detail. After the session I asked mom about them. She told me she got them on her first day of Kindergarten. There was a story behind them. And I captured them, I made sure they were visible and that made me ecstatic. Anyways, when mom when to pick Everly up from school, Everly ran to her, and fell. That fall lead to the scrapes on her arms. I hope, that years from now, when mom is looking at these images, she is reminded of Everly’s first day of Kindergarten, and how she ran to her. How she ran to her mama.
