Kelowna Newborn Photographer : The Barthas : In Home

It’s no secret that I love newborns. Anything newborn and I’m happy. But you know what else I love. The mamas. I absolutely love sitting with them when they are getting ready for the session, I love chatting with them when they are nursing, I love learning about their births and their experiences. Sharing mine with them. The similarities and differences. We are connected. Every mama has a story to tell and every mama can relate to some piece of that story.

And this mama, man, it was so easy to just sit and talk with her. I honestly could have stayed there all day. However, that may have imposed on their plans to get donuts once the session over.

These are the sessions that fill me. That drive me. The ones that inspire me. The sessions where I feel like I’m talking with an old friend. Just visiting them and their new baby. Documenting that time for them. So, to the Barthas, and all the other clients who open their homes to me, or who trust me to document their families memories, thank you.
